Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 658944 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left side instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park brake warning lamp switch.

    3. Object Number: 1318636 Size: SH
  3. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch screw (3).
  4. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch (2) from the park brake pedal assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1318636 Size: SH
  1. Install the park brake warning lamp switch (2) to the park brake pedal assembly (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the park brake warning lamp switch screw (3) and tighten to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 658944 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the park brake warning lamp switch.
  4. Install the left side instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side.
  5. Check the operation of the park brake warning lamp switch.
