Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the left instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side.
2. Remove the left outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement.
3. Remove the front floor console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement.

Driver Knee Bolster Assembly Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2.5 N·m (22 lb in)

Driver Knee Bolster Assembly

Procedure

1. Grasp the driver knee bolster assembly and pull rearward disengaging the clips securing it to the instrument panel.
2. Disconnect the electrical connections.
3. When replacing the driver knee bolster, transfer all necessary components.
