Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
3. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement.
4. Remove the rear door stationary window. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement.

Rear Door Upper Sealing Strip Rivet (Qty: 7)

Procedure

Drill out the 6 mm (5/32 in) rivets to remove the sealing strip.

Rear Side Door Applique Screws (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

DO not remove the applique completely. Two screws are located on the inner edge door frame.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Rear Door Upper Sealing Strip

Procedure

Pull downward to release the rear door upper sealing strip from the door frame.
