Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Malibu 🢒 HVAC 🢒 Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning 🢒 Heater Core Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1701076 Size: SH
  2. Remove the center floor air outlet duct screws.
  3. Remove the center floor air outlet duct.

    4. Object Number: 1701081 Size: SH
  4. Drill out the heater core cover heat stakes.
  5. Remove the heater core cover screws.
  6. Remove the heater core cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1701081 Size: SH
  1. Install the heater core cover.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the heater core cover screws and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1701076 Size: SH
  3. Install the center floor air outlet duct.
  4. Install the center floor air outlet duct screws and tighten to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).
  5. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement.
