Important: Protect the applique with heavy material tape in order to avoid damaging the underlying paint finish or applique. Do not use a pointed or a sharp instrument for the removal of the applique.

1. Remove the window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .



2. Remove the weather seal around the window frame.
3. Remove the screws (1).
4. Remove the frame applique from the front door.
5. Inspect the nylon anchors (2) to ensure proper anchoring of the screws.

1. Install the new nylon anchors (2), if required.
2. Install the frame applique to the front door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the screws (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

4. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
