Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the recliner handle. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
  2. Remove the side shield fasteners.

    3. Object Number: 1284529 Size: SH
  3. Remove the power seat switch adjuster button, if equipped.

    4. Object Number: 1219154 Size: SH
  4. Remove the side shield from the seat assembly by pushing rearward and pulling the rear of the shield straight out.
  5. Remove the power seat switch, if equipped. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .
  6. Remove the heated seat switch, if equipped. Refer to Heated Seat Switch Replacement .

  7. Remove the front seat mount fasteners and tilt the seat forward.

    8. Object Number: 1219153 Size: SH
  8. Remove the seat belt anchor from the seat frame.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1219153 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat belt anchor to the seat frame.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the anchor to 32 N·m (24 lb ft).


    Object Number: 873511 Size: SH
  2. Install the front seat mounting fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 35 N·m (26 lb ft).

    Important: Route the heat switch wire harness through the V-retainers in the trim panel.

  3. Install the heated seat switch. Refer to Heated Seat Switch Replacement .
  4. Install the power seat switch. Refer to Power Seat Switch Replacement .

    5. Object Number: 1219154 Size: SH
  5. Install the side shield to the seat assembly.

    6. Object Number: 1284529 Size: SH
  6. Install the power seat switch adjuster button.
  7. Install the side shield fasteners.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  8. Install the recliner handle. Refer to Driver Seat and Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement .
