The electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects an internal malfunction.
The Ignition is ON.
An internal EBCM malfunction exists.
One or more of the following actions may occur:
• | The EBCM disables the ABS system. |
• | The EBCM disables or degrades DRP function. |
• | The ABS indicator illuminates. |
• | The Traction OFF indicator illuminates. |
• | The Brake Warning indicator illuminates. |
• | The condition for the DTC is no longer present. |
• | The EBCM automatically clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles. |

Verify that DTC C0550 is not set.
