The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

New software has been developed for this condition.

First check the radio's power and ground feeds for proper terminal tension. The U1C radio is NOT SPS programmable. The radio must be replaced with an exchange unit from the ESC to obtain a unit with the updated software, To verify the unit has the latest software, ensure the replacement radio's label has a letter "A " on the bottom lower right corner (under the far right bar code) of the part number sticker.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
