Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Description for Chevrolet Metro 1998

The ECT sensor (3) is located in the thermostat housing (2) near the thermostat. The coolant temperature sending unit is integral with the ECT sensor. This unit signals current coolant temperature to the powertrain control module (PCM).
