THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO ADD THE "NOTE" UNDER SERVICE PROCEDURE. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
MODEL: 1995 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO COUPE WITH OPTION AM9
SOME EARLY BUILT VEHICLES WITH FOLDING REAR SEAT BACK CUSHIONS (OPTION AM9) HAVE THE TWO (2) CENTER RETAINING TABS BENT OVER THE SEAT BACK WIRE FOR BETTER RETENTION.
TO REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK CUSHION ASSEMBLY ON THESE CARS:
1. FOLD REAR BACKS DOWN AND LOCATE CENTER RETAINING TABS BY REACHING THROUGH OPENING AT TOP CENTER AND BEND TABS UP. (SEE FIGURE 1.)
2. FOLLOW SERVICE MANUAL, SECTION 10-10, PROCEDURE TO COMPLETE REMOVAL.
3. WHEN REINSTALLING, BE SURE TO BEND TABS DOWN FOR PROPER RETENTION.
FOR VEHICLES REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY, USE: LABOR OPERATION: C7278 LABOR TIME: 0.6 HR.
