Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner duct.
  2. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe.
    3. • For the 3.1L engine, refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.
    • For the 3.4L engine, refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.
    • For the 3.8L engine, refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.

  3. Depress the servo cover.
  4. Remove the snap ring.
  5. Remove the servo cover.
  6. Remove the servo piston.
  7. Remove the sealing ring.
  8. Remove the apply pin.
  9. Remove the servo spring.

Installation Procedure
  1. Lift the driver's side of the car so that the differential side is lower. Follow this procedure so that the transmission will have reverse gear.
  2. Install the servo spring.
  3. Install the apply pin.
  4. Install the sealing ring.
  5. Install the servo piston.

  6. Install the servo cover.
  7. Install the snap ring.
  8. Install the exhaust crossover pipe.
    9. • For the 3.1L engine, refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.
    • For the 3.4L engine, refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.
    • For the 3.8L engine, refer to Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement in Exhaust System.
  9. Install the air cleaner duct.
