Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the camshaft carrier. Refer to Camshaft Carrier Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 57361 Size: SH

    Important: Keep the valve lifters in order so the lifters may be installed in the lifter's original position.

  2. Remove the six lifter hold-down hoses.
  3. Remove the valve lifters.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 57361 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the lifters with engine oil supplement (EOS) GM P/N 1052367 or equivalent.
  2. Install the valve lifters.
  3. Install the lifter hold-down hoses to the camshaft carrier.
  4. Install the camshaft carrier. Refer to Camshaft Carrier Replacement .
