| • | Lifters should be kept in order so they may be installed in their original position. |
| • | If the lifters are removed, they must be installed in their original location. |
| Important: Whenever new valve lifters are being installed, coat the valve lifters with camshaft and lifter prelube GM P/N 1052365 (or equivalent). |
| • | Inspect the following areas of the valve lifters: |
| • | The lifter body for wear and scuffing |
| • | The lifter bore for wear |
