Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 292728  Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolts/screws (3) from the radio (2).
  4. Remove the radio (2) from the instrument panel (1).

  5. Object Number: 292760  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector (3).

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector (3).

  2. Object Number: 292728  Size: SH
  3. Align the radio (2) to the instrument panel (1).
  4. Push the radio (2) into place.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the bolts/screws to the radio (3).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the radio bolts/screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
