The inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil assembly contains four circuits used by the steering controls. Voltage is applied by the steering wheel switches to the radio while the steering wheel is being turned.

The radio control switch controls the volume and the station frequency. The radio control switch receives power through circuit 843. Press the switch to the desired function. A network of series resistors allows a different voltage output through circuit 1011 to the radio for each switch pressed.
