Caution: NEVER spray water on a hot heat exchanger. The resulting steam could cause personal injury.

Notice: The heat exchanger fins are necessary for good heat transfer. Do not brush the fins. This may cause damage to the fins, reducing heat transfer.

Notice: Compressed air or water can be used to clean the radiator fins. Do not exceed 138 kPa (20 psi). Pressure over 138 kPa (20 psi) will damage the radiator.

Clean the front face of the radiator annually.

    • Clean the front face of the condenser.

Important: Blow the air from the rear toward the front. If compressed air is not available a water hose can be used to force water through the radiator.

Use water only with the engine not running and cool.

    • Remove bugs, leaves and debris by blowing compressed air through the radiator.
