Driver Information Center (DIC)

The DIC displays information about the vehicle operation and its surroundings. Also, when the vehicle is equipped with a power sun roof, the roof control switch will be located on the left side of the DIC.

You may change the information display to a metric or English reading at any time by pressing and holding the RESET and MODE buttons for 3 seconds.

The Mode Button (MODE) allows the user to cycle through three modes of operation:

    • Compass/Temperature mode
    • Trip Calculator mode
    • Off

Compass/Temperature Mode Display

The driver information display calculates and displays the following vehicle parameters:

    • The current direction the vehicle is heading
    • The outside temperature

Trip Mode Display

The driver information display calculates and displays the following vehicle parameters:

    • Average fuel economy
    • Instant fuel economy
    • Trip range
    • Fuel used
    • Average speed

The optional HomeLink® system gives the vehicle owner the ability to use a garage door opener (GDO) that is integral to the interior trim of the vehicle. The HomeLink® is capable of learning and remembering variables required to emulate 3 different GDO transmitters. In the learn mode of operation, the user selects one of three channels.
