Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
  2. Turn the wiper switch to HI.
  3. Backprobe from the wiper/washer switch connector, terminal D3, to ground using a J 35616-200 .

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector for the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

  1. Disconnect the wiper motor connector.
  2. Connect the J 35616-200 from the wiper motor connector, terminal C, to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair the open in CKT 92. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
