Inspection Procedure
  1. Adjust the seat back to the full-reclined position and check for ease of the lever operation.
  2. Verify that the recliner lock mechanism holds the seat back in the full reclined position after lever is released.
  3. Adjust the seat back to an intermediate position and check for ease of the lever operation.
  4. Verify that the recliner lock mechanism holds the seat back in the intermediate position by applying rearward force after lever is released.
  5. Adjust the seat back to the full-upright position and check for ease of lever operation.
  6. When the seat back is moved to the full-upright position the recliner has an override where the seat back must be pushed rearward to lock the recliner.
  7. Verify that the seat back remains in the full-upright position by applying rearward force to the seat back after lever is released.
