Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector (3).
  2. Remove the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube (4) from the air cleaner intake duct.
  3. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector (5).
  4. Loosen the air cleaner intake duct hose clamp (2).
  5. Remove the air cleaner intake duct from the throttle body.
  6. Unclip the 2 air cleaner cover clips.

  8. Remove the air cleaner cover (5) with the air cleaner intake duct.
  9. Remove the air cleaner element (6) from the air cleaner assembly (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 444460  Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner element (6) to the air cleaner assembly (1).
  2. Install the air cleaner cover (5) with the air cleaner intake duct.
  3. Install the 2 air cleaner cover clips.

  4. Object Number: 811623  Size: SH
  5. Install the air cleaner intake duct to the throttle body.
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Tighten the air cleaner intake duct clamp (2).
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector (5).
  10. Install the PCV tube (4) to the air cleaner intake duct.
  11. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector (3).
