Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1843990 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the barometric (BARO) pressure sensor.
  3. Remove the BARO sensor bolt.
  4. Remove the BARO sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1843990 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the BARO sensor O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the BARO sensor to the bracket.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the BARO sensor bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the BARO sensor.
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
