Preliminary Procedure Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement.
1	Latch Striker Bolt (Qty: 3) Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tighten 25 N·m (19 lb ft)
2	Rear Compartment Lid Latch Striker Tip Remove the licence plate to gain access to the 2 outer bolts.

Latch Striker Bolt (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
25 N·m (19 lb ft)

Remove the licence plate to gain access to the 2 outer bolts.
