Preliminary Procedure Remove the carpet retainer. Refer to Front Carpet Retainer Replacement .
1	Hood Release Handle Screw Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)
2	Hood Release Handle Nut Tighten 10 N·m (89 lb in)
3	Hood Release Handle Tip Disconnect the cable from the handle.
