Important: Replacement 'DataDots' will not be supplied for components replaced in the field.

All HSV vehicles have Data Dots applied to major components of the vehicle. The Data Dots are imprinted with each vehicles specific TAG number and can be seen with an illuminated magnifier. The Data Dots are applied to aid in identification of components originally fitted to the vehicle.

Suspension Control Systems

Some vehicles are equipped with Magnetic Ride Control (MRC). This system of using Magneto-Rheological Fluid in the struts of the vehicle to control ride characteristics is referred to within this service documentation as Electronic Suspension Control (ESC).
