Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1290802 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front parallel link bolt from the crossmember. Refer to Lateral Link Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear parallel link bolt from the crossmember. Refer to Lateral Link Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear wheel speed sensor wiring from the crossmember.

    5. Object Number: 1290829 Size: SH
  5. Remove the crossmember-to-body bolts.
  6. Remove the crossmember.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1290830 Size: SH
  1. Install the crossmember.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the crossmember-to-body bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the crossmember-to-body bolts to 112 N·m (83 lb ft).

  3. Route and install the rear wheel speed sensor wiring.
  4. Install the rear parallel link bolt onto the crossmember. Refer to Lateral Link Replacement .
  5. Install the front parallel link bolt onto the crossmember. Refer to Lateral Link Replacement .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
