The purpose of this bulletin is to provide Chevrolet dealers with supplemental information regarding the automatic transmission maintenance schedule for 2004-2007 Chevrolet Optra vehicles. This information is not currently available in the Owner Manual.
Automatic Transaxle Maintenance Schedule Revision
Every 60,000 km (37,500 mi)
Change the automatic transaxle fluid if the vehicle is mainly driven under one or more of these conditions:
| • | In heavy city traffic where the outside temperature regularly reaches 32°C (90°F). |
| • | In hilly or mountainous terrain. |
| • | Uses such as found in taxi, police, or delivery service. |
If the vehicle is not used under any of these conditions, the fluid does not require changing.
