Some customers may comment that the ignition key is hot or warm when removed from the ignition lock cylinder after driving.

Correction


Object Number: 2003922  Size: SH

Important: Take care not to drop or lose the solenoid spring (1).

Replace the ignition lock cylinder solenoid (2) (also known as the "key interlock solenoid (2)) with a new service part, P/N 96843730. Refer to Steering Column Replacement in SI.
