Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the instrument panel under cover. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
4. Remove the sensor retaining screw.
5. Remove the sensor.

1. Install the sensor with the retaining screw.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the instrument panel under cover.Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
4. Connect the negative battery.
