Lower Control Arm Ball Joint Replacement for Chevrolet Optra 2009

1. Remove the control arm. Refer to Control Arm Replacement.
2. Drill off the heads of the 2 rivets with a 12 mm (0.47 in) drill bit.
3. Punch out the rivets with a drift.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Connect the ball joint to the control arm by inserting 2 ball joint bolts from below the control arm and tighten to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
2. Install the control arm. Refer to Control Arm Replacement.
