Rear Compartment Lid Latch Striker Replacement for Chevrolet Optra 2009

1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
3. Remove the bolts securing the lock striker.
4. Pull the lock striker out.
5. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock striker.

1. Connect the lock release cable.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the lock striker with the bolts and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
3. Install the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
