Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1877029 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Place a drain pan or suitable container under the vehicle.
  3. Disconnect the oil cooler hoses from the radiator.

    4. Object Number: 1877031 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil cooler line assembly bolt from the transaxle.
  5. Remove the oil cooler line assembly.
  6. Replace the transaxle oil cooler line seals. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Seal Replacement.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1877031 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil cooler line assembly to the transaxle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil cooler line assembly bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1877029 Size: SH
  3. Connect the oil cooler hoses to the radiator.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Add fluid to the transaxle.
  6. Check the fluid level.
