  1. Press the cluster shaft bearing onto the input shaft gear cluster.

    2. Object Number: 1251697 Size: SH
  2. Press the input driveshaft into the input shaft gear cluster assembly.

    3. Object Number: 1251692 Size: SH
  3. Install the snap ring at the base of the gear cluster.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1251691 Size: SH
  4. Install the detent screw at the end of the input driveshaft and tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
