Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1671293 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister front hose from the EVAP emission purge solenoid valve.

    3. Object Number: 1671299 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the EVAP emission canister front hose from the EVAP emission canister pipe.

    4. Object Number: 1671302 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the EVAP emission canister pipe from the EVAP emission canister rear hose.

    5. Object Number: 1671307 Size: SH
  5. Remove the EVAP canister pipe retaining bolts.
  6. Remove the EVAP canister pipe.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1671307 Size: SH
  1. Position the EVAP canister pipe to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the EVAP canister pipe retaining bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the EVAP canister pipe retaining bolts to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).

  3. Connect the EVAP emission canister pipe to the EVAP emission canister rear hose.

    4. Object Number: 1671299 Size: SH
  4. Connect the EVAP emission canister front hose to the EVAP emission canister pipe.

    5. Object Number: 1671293 Size: SH
  5. Connect the EVAP canister front hose to the EVAP emission purge solenoid valve.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
