Rear Compartment Lid Latch Striker Replacement for Chevrolet Optra - Mexico 2008

1. Open the rear compartment.
2. Remove the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the bolts securing the lock striker.
4. Pull the lock striker out.
5. Disconnect the lock release cable from the lock striker.

1. Connect the lock release cable.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the lock striker with the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lock striker bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

3. Install the rear compartment lower cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
