Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1309053 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the door seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  3. Remove the door lock screws.
  4. Disconnect the lock rods.
  5. Remove the door lock.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1309053 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear door lock with the screws and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  3. Install the lock rods.
  4. Install the door seal trim. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
