Shoulder Belt Replacement - Rear Four Door

1. Remove the back shelf panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the rear seat belt retractor securing bolts (LH, Center, RH) from the back panel.



3. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.



4. Remove the floor seat belt anchor bolts.
5. Remove the seat belt.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the floor seat belt anchor bolts and tighten to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).



2. Install the rear seat belt retractor bolts (LH, Center, RH) on the back panel and tighten to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).



3. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
4. Install the back shelf panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.

Shoulder Belt Replacement - Rear Five Door/Wagon

Left and Right Side

1. Remove the back shelf pane and C-pillar trim panel.



2. Remove the rear seat belt retractor bolts.



3. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.



4. Remove the floor seat belt anchor bolts.
5. Remove the seat belt.

Center

1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
2. Remove the floor seat belt and buckle anchor bolt (1).
3. Remove the head restraint and guide from the rear seatback. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement.
4. Remove the rear seatback. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement.



5. Remove the armrest from the seatback.



6. Remove the center seat belt cover from the seat cover.



7. Pull the seatback cover out of the seat frame.



8. Detach the seat foam from the seat frame after disconnecting the seat folding button from the folding latch assembly in the seat frame.
9. Remove the center seat belt retractor cover.



10. Remove the bolts and the center seat belt retractor.

Left and Right Side

1. Install the seat belt.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the floor seat belt anchor bolts and tighten to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).



3. Install the rear seat belt retractor bolts on the back panel and tighten to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).



4. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.



5. Install the backshelf panel and C-pillar trim panel securing with 4 screws.

Center

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




1. Install the center seat belt retractor and bolts and tighten to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).



2. Install the center seat belt retractor cover.
3. Install the seat foam on the seat frame and connect the seat folding button to the folding latch assembly.



4. Install the seatback cover on the seat frame.



5. Install the center seat belt cover on the seat cover.



6. Install the armrest to the seatback and tighten to 24 N·m (18 lb ft).



7. Install the rear seatback. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Replacement.
8. Install the head restraint and guide to the rear seatback. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement.
9. Install the floor seat belt and buckle anchor bolt (1) and tighten to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).
10. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
