Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement for Chevrolet PJJ 2000

1. On sedan models only, remove the upper trim panel from the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the side upper garnish molding from the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
3. Remove the quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Remove the floor carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.



5. Pull the weatherstrip from the pinch weld flange.

Notice: Obtain full weatherstrip engagement on pinch-weld flange especially in corners of door opening.

1. Push the weatherstrip onto the pinch weld flange.
2. Install the floor carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
3. Install the quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Install the side upper garnish molding to the windshield. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar in Interior Trim.
5. On sedan models only, install the upper trim panel to the center pillar. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
