Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 422205 Size: SH
  1. Remove the radiator cap.
  2. Start the engine.

    3. Run the engine for 15 minutes.

  3. Stop the engine.
  4. Open the drain plug on the radiator.

    5. Drain the coolant.

  5. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator inlet hose at the radiator.
  6. Loosen and reposition the hose clamp on the radiator inlet hose at the thermostat.
  7. Remove the radiator hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 422192 Size: SH
  1. Position a new hose clamp on each end of the new radiator inlet hose before installation.
  2. Install the new radiator hose to the thermostat cap and to the radiator.
  3. Position the radiator inlet hose over the thermostat and the radiator flares.
  4. Use 2 hose clamps in order to secure the hose.
  5. Use an approved coolant in order to fill the radiator. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
