Removal Procedure
Notice: The EVAP canister may have released carbon particles which caused this
part to fail and may cause damage to other components. Check the EVAP canister
for loose carbon before returning the vehicle to service.
- Remove the EVAP canister (3). Refer to
Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement
.
- Disconnect the EVAP pressure switching solenoid electrical connector.
- Disconnect the three EVAP pressure switching solenoid hoses.
- Remove the one bolt (2).
- Remove the EVAP pressure switching solenoid (1) from the EVAP
canister.
Installation Procedure
- Install the EVAP pressure switching solenoid
(1) to the EVAP canister.
- Secure with one bolt (2).
- Connect the three EVAP pressure switching solenoid hoses.
- Connect the EVAP pressure switching solenoid electrical connector.
- Install the EVAP canister (3). Refer to
Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement
