Preliminary Checks
Since the problems in steering, suspension, tires, and wheels involve
several systems, all systems must be considered when diagnosing a complaint.
In order to avoid pursuing the wrong symptom, always road test the vehicle
first. Proceed with the following preliminary checks and correct any substandard
condition which are found.

| • | Inspect the steering system for leaks. |
| • | Inspect the power steering fluid level. |
