Problem

Action

The springs are broken or sagging.

Inspect and repair as necessary.

Refer to Strut, Strut Component, and Spring Replacement in Front Suspension or Strut Disassemble/Assemble Repair in Rear Suspension.

The stabilizer shaft is loose or disconnected.

Inspect the following items for damage. Replace as necessary.

    • The stabilizer shaft
    • The stabilizer shaft links
    • The stabilizer shaft brackets
    • The stabilizer shaft insulators

Refer to one of the following procedures:

    •  Suspension Component Inspection in Front Suspension
    •  Suspension Component Inspection in Rear Suspension
    •  Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Front Suspension
    •  Stabilizer Shaft Replacement in Rear Suspension

The vehicle is overloaded.

Reduce the vehicle load.

Refer to the Tire Placard on the I/P compartment door.

The tire pressure(s) is incorrect.

Inflate the tire(s) to proper specifications.

Refer to the Tire Placard on the I/P compartment door.
