In the ventilation mode (1), air is discharged from the IP outlets.
In the bi-level mode (2), airflow is divided between the upper air outlets and the floor air outlets, with warmer air delivered to the floor outlets than is delivered to the upper air outlets.
In the heat mode (3), most of the air is directed toward the floor outlets, along with a small amount of air to the windshield and the side window vents.
In the heat/defroster mode (4), a portion of the heated air is directed to the windshield while the remaining air is delivered to the floor and side window vents.
In the defrost mode (5), most of the air is directed to the windshield for quick removal of fog or frost. A small amount of air is also directed toward the floor and side window outlets.
