Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 325441 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the IP center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

    3. Important: Note the routing of the cable to make installation easier.

  3. Disconnect the fresh/recirc control cable from the HVAC module assembly.

    4. Object Number: 325428 Size: SH
  4. Remove the two screws (5) and pull the HVAC control unit forward.
  5. Disconnect the fresh/recirc control cable (6) from the HVAC control unit.
  6. Remove the fresh/recirc control cable (6) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 325428 Size: SH
  1. Position the fresh/recirc control cable in the vehicle. Route the cable as previously noted.
  2. Connect the fresh/recirc control cable (6) to the HVAC control unit.
  3. Install the HVAC control unit to the IP. Secure with the two screws (5).

    4. Object Number: 325441 Size: SH
  4. Connect the fresh/recirc control cable to the HVAC module assembly.
  5. Adjust the fresh/recirc control cable. Refer to Vent Control Cable Adjustment.
  6. Install the IP center trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  7. Install the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
