  1. Apply pressure to the brake pedal, to activate the stoplamp switch.
  2. Using a test lamp, backprobe the stoplamp switch cavity 1 to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Connect a fused jumper wire on the stoplamp switch connector between cavity 2 and cavity 1.
  2. Using a test lamp, backprobe the junction block 1, C6 cavity 8 to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Using a test lamp, backprobe the junction block 1 C5 cavity 7 to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Repair the open in the GRN/WHT wire between the stoplamp switch cavity 1 and the junction block 1, C6 cavity 6. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Using a test lamp, backprobe the stoplamp switch cavity 2 to ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Replace the stoplamp switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Replacement in Hydraulic Brakes.

Is the replacement complete?

Repair the open in the RED/WHT wire between the stoplamp switch and the junction block 2, C3 cavity 7. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in the GRN/WHT wire between the junction block 1, C5 cavity 7 and SP450. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
