Did you perform the Radio/Audio System Check?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

1. Disconnect the Radio connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Using a J 35616-200 Unpowered Test Light, frontprobe the radio connector terminal 4 and ground.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Test for continuity between the radio connector cavity 9 and ground.

Does continuity exist?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the short between the radio connector terminal 4 and terminal 1 of connector C2 of the multifunction alarm module. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

Replace the Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

Repair the short in the BRN wire between the Radio connector cavity 9 and G202. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?
