Did you perform the Radio/Audio System Check?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

1. Place the headlamp switch in PARK.
2. Turn the Illumination Switch to the ON position.
3. Using a J 35616-200 , backprobe the radio cavity  3 to ground.
4. Rotate the IP lamp dimmer knob.

Does the test lamp illumination vary while the IP lamp dimmer knob is rotated?

Replace the radio.

Refer to Radio Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Radio/Audio System Check

Repair the short in the WHT/GRN wire between the radio connector cavity 3 and the Junction Block 3, connector C3 cavity 6. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
