Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Assembly System Check?

Go to Instrument Cluster System Check

1. Start and idle the engine.
2. Obtain normal operating temperature.
3. Install the scan tool.
4. Select the engine speed parameter.
5. Apply fuel to obtain and level off at each of the specified RPM listed in the values column.
6. Compare the observed engine speed on the scan tool with the RPM displayed on the tachometer.

Are the scan tool's readings within 150 RPM of the tachometer's readings, for each of the three values?

1500, 2000, and 3000 RPM
