Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear defogger/hazard switch assembly trim plate (1) from the instrument panel (2) by gently prying the 3 clips using a taped flat bladed screwdriver.
- Disconnect the rear window defogger switch electrical connector (1).
- Depress the tab on each side of the defogger switch.
- Remove the rear window defogger switch from the rear defogger/hazard switch assembly trim plate (3).
Installation Procedure
- Install the rear window defogger switch to the rear defogger/hazard switch assembly trim plate (3). Ensure that the retaining tabs are fully engaged.
- Connect the rear window defogger switch electrical connector (1).
- Press the rear defogger/hazard switch assembly trim plate (3) into the instrument panel. Ensure that the retaining clips are fully engaged.
