Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 242349 Size: SH
  1. Remove the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement or Power Mirror Replacement .
  2. Completely lower the window.
  3. Position aside the front door weatherstrip to gain access to the outer sealing strip plastic retainer.
  4. Remove the outer sealing strip plastic retainer (1).

    5. Object Number: 242344 Size: SH
  5. Gently pry the outer sealing strip (1) from the door using a taped flat bladed tool.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 242344 Size: SH
  1. Install the outer sealing strip (1) to the door. Secure the sealing strip with the plastic retainer.
  2. Reposition the front door weatherstrip to its original position.
  3. Raise the window.
  4. Install the outside rearview mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement or Power Mirror Replacement .
