J 9617 Oil Pump Seal Installer

1. Remove the oil seal from the pump.
2. Inspect the seal contact portion of the torque converter.

Clean the seal contact portion of the torque converter.

1. Install the oil seal.
2. Apply GM P/N 1050169 grease to the oil seal lip.



3. Use the J 9617 to drive in the oil seal.
